FurrySpigot is a Spigot fork for Minecraft 1.8.x, offering the following features:
High Performance, Low Resource Usage
Server startup completes in 0.113 seconds, using only 63MB of memory.
Advanced Chunk Compression
Uses a proprietary chunk storage format that is faster and smaller.
(Note: Not compatible with vanilla saves. Exporting to vanilla format is unsupported.)
Customizable TPS (Ticks Per Second)
You can set the TPS to any value between 1 and 500.
This allows for precise tick-level debugging of redstone machines, speeding up AFK farms, or creating better PVP experience.
Java 21 Support
Fully compatible with Java 21 and newer versions, without any errors.
Font Optimization
Removes random empty lines in console and fixes the Log4J issue.
Enhanced Security
Ops can only be granted from the console.
In-game and plugin operations for granting Op are prohibited.
Compatible with plugins like ChestCommands that temporarily set Op.
(Known issue with LuckPerms. Won't fix.)
