Tenebris works by installing datapacks into your world to allow it to generate stunning cavescapes and structures. As a consequence, Tenebris does not lag your server at all beyond natural, vanilla generation.

After installing the Tenebris .jar, proceed to loading your server and then opening the config.yml file, put in the names of the worlds you want to have generated through Tenebris in a format like this:

  - world

  - world2

Then shutdown the server and delete those worlds off of the server directory. After starting it the server again, it will close before restarting. Tenebris has now fully loaded the world and you can safely open up and enjoy your cavescapes.
