MusePluse is a powerful open-source music playing plugin for your Minecraft server! MusePluse takes YouTube links & plays them to players on your server via an intuitive GUI Music Player.

MusePluse differentiates from all other public music players as this one has the ability to play any music you can think of without using the NoteBlockAPI (which I personally don't enjoy which was my entire reasoning for creating MusePluse), and also allows you to add ANY song just as long as it is hosted on YouTube publicly.

MusePluse REQUIRES a setup process now as of 2.0.0, please review our documentation before installing the plugin! Our documentation may be located here!

For existing users updating from 1.x.x -> 2.0.0 you will need to delete your /plugins/MusePluse folder in order for the new configs to generate properly, this will be the only time this is required! This update was absolutely massive and essentially required that I re-write most of the plugin from the ground up

  • Almost Entirely Configurable *
  • Easily add in songs from YouTube with a single configuration file!
  • Comes with an assortment over 20+ relaxing songs by default (And more to come!)
  • A Developer API **
  • Ability to lock certain songs behind a permission (Includes for adding the song to queue, automatically being added into the queue, and playing the song on demand)
  • Ability to add songs into your song-queue
  • Ability to play songs on demand
  • An elegant GUI to pick songs from
  • Ability to skip to the next song in queue (/skipsong OR via GUI)
= While mostly everything (Except the GUI texts & some items) are configurable, adding songs via config is not documented and will need a more drawn out guide created by me. This will come in the next upcoming days.

** = Similar situation to adding songs in the sense that its just not documented, if you are a well-seasoned developer I'm sure you can find it easily, documenting this is of low priority though!

  • More controls & details for the GUI Such as Listing the currently playing song & listing the next song. *
  • Ability to create listening party's that players can create & join. Songs played to the party are dependent upon what songs the host has access to *
  • Ability to use NoteBlockAPI to play songs (This feature will likely be one of the last things added) *
  • Adding volume & stop controls to the gui, however players can always just turn the VOICES section in the volume settings to OFF/Loser if they dont want to listen to the song/want to listen at a lower volume *
  • Adding a /reload command *
  • And many more! *
* = Un-Confirmed Feature (aka "maybe")
* = Not a high priority/not started
* = Started/Upcoming Update
* = Mild importance/Halfway finished/TBA

"Will this plugin work on 1.18 and below?"
Who knows, it doesn't use any NMS so realistically this plugin should work on 1.16+ (Maybe even later). However no support will be given for any versions under 1.19, please do not request backports to older versions!

"I have a question about the plugin / plugin's configuration / I think this might be a bug"
Currently I do not have a discord for my plugin's. One will be created in the upcoming days but for now you can send me a private message on Discord: HomosexualDemon (Or tag me in the Official SpigotMC Discord)
For bug requests however, it is preferred to use Our Github
If you have a general question about the plugin it may be worth checking the Documentation!
