Welcome to the official HyruleGamingGroup SMP server!

The HyruleGamingGroup is a tight-knit community offering you exactly what you need as a content creator, artist, gaming enthusiast and more. Community spirit, friendships and teamwork are key to make our community as awesome as it is.

We have been running Minecraft servers for a long time now, this being our third phase as of Minecraft 1.20.1!

  1. General Rules
  1. Discord verification is required. You can not play without doing so.
  2. Respect every single community member, even if you do not like them. Open up a ticket* if they are causing problems.
  3. Do not harass, insult, discriminate, or perform any other harmful act on any community member.
  4. Do not post any derogatory terms or phrases, no matter the context. Our chat filter is well configured and will catch almost anything nasty you throw at us.
  5. Do not advertise your own Minecraft server or Discord community without permission from an administrator. This will result in a permanent ban.
  6. Keep the chat in English at all times. The majority of our community speaks English.
  7. You must be 13 years or older to be on our Discord server and to play on the Minecraft server. Some countries have higher age requirements, but it is impossible to check this for every individual user. We will believe you in good faith.
  8. It is expected you behave well and act mature no matter what your age is.
  9. It is required you follow the Twitch ToS at all times, no matter if you stream or not.
  10. Light swearing is allowed to a minimum.
  11. Do not act like a moderator if you're not one.
  12. Poor and toxic behaviour will be reported to Minehut staff.
  1. Game Specific Rules
  1. You are not allowed to use more than one account. If you would like to use another account, use /discord unlink in-game first on the account you are already using.
  2. No griefing, stealing, exploiting, cheating or hacking of any kind.
  3. No begging for items.
  4. Do not claim an unclaimed base for yourself, and don't take items that belong to other players. Just because a base isn't claimed, doesn't mean it's yours.
  5. Do not sell in-game items for real world currency. If we find you doing this, it will result in a permanent ban from our entire community.
  1. Content Creation Rules
  1. Creating video and/or streaming content on our server is allowed. Permission is not necessary.
  2. Becoming a consistent content creator on the server can grant you access to a special 1085720929675522101.webp?size=44 Content Creator rank in-game.
  1. Mods Rules
  1. It is allowed to use certain mods like mini maps, waypoint managers, Litematica and free cam. As long as your mods don't allow you to blatantly cheat and find hidden ores or other special block types, it will be okay.
  2. If you are unsure on what mods are allowed or disallowed, you can always ask us through a ticket*.

We have an active and strong Discord community where we all come together to talk, share art, play games and hang out. While this is what makes our Discord thrive, it is not required for you to get actively involved in all the discussion going on.

Joining the Discord is however a necessity, as it is required to properly play on the server, and since it is the only way to report bugs, bad player behaviour through #mc-tickets and provide feedback/suggestions in #mc-suggestions.

Join the Minecraft server at IP: mc.hyrulegaminggroup.com and type /discord in the in-game chat to receive an invite link and further instructions.
Navigate over to the #mc-server-info channel and find the @Block Nook bot to send the four digit code to after you type /discord link in-game. After completing this step, you will be able to interact with the world.

Upon joining and verification, you will be able to type /getstarted in-game to showcase a bunch of useful tips and commands to help you get started. Alternatively, you can type /help to list every available command, but in a less organized fashion.

We run a large amount of plugins to help improve the general gameplay of the server, such as:
Locking your chests, doors, trapdoors, furnaces, etc by playing a sign on them.
Claiming a certain amount of land to prevent modification by others.
A smaller amount of players needed to skip the night.
The use of commands such as /sethome, /tpr and /warp.
Multiple words such as PvP and CraftWare to adhere to every type of Minecraft player.
Custom items with each of them having their own unique perks and styles.
A self-made resource pack to make our server stand out and more unique.

CraftWare is our brand new WarioWare inspired minigames world featuring 20+ microgames and 8+ boss stages. Each microgame will earn you one point when you win them, and each boss stage will earn you five points. To play CraftWare, walk through the minigames portal in the Hub world or type /warp craftware to warp there in an instant.

Each microgame lasts four seconds at regular speed, and after a couple microgames the game speeds up resulting in the games becoming more difficult to complete. The game has a small chance to initiate a bonus round as well, to put a twist on the game and keep it interesting.

CraftWare allows you to earn points that you can spend using our brand new /points system. Some of these items including the famous Travel Medallion from Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom, or the Hookshot from the classic Legend of Zelda games.

Do you think you have what it takes to battle it out with your friends/frenemies? Hop into our brand new PvP world by walking through the minigames portal in our Hub world, or type /warp pvp in the chat to warp there in an instant. PvP is a very new concept to us, so we are constantly looking to improve the experience!
 
There are four classes to choose from:
Warrior
Ranged
Wizard
Hunter

Each class has its own set of items and playstyle. Find out what suits you best in combat!

Our server has its own unique resource pack which you can download by directly joining our server and accepting the resource pack prompt. The pack will get updated every time an event comes around or when new items get added through one of our plugins. The resource pack is required as of June 23, 2023.

Our resource pack works properly without the use of OptiFine/CIT Resewn, but some of our custom items do require one of the two mods.

OptiFine works out of the box if installed seperately or together with Forge.
OptiFine may not work together with Fabric.

Our custom resource pack is compatible with Bedrock Edition, on every version!
Some features may not work such as compasses, bows, armors or custom 3D models.

This plugin has not been developed by Mojang and is therefore not official. Bugs will occur and a connection to the server may be laggy. This is something out of our control and we can not do anything to fix any of these issues. Please do not create any support tickets regarding these problems as these tickets will be ignored and removed.

Our server supports the Simple Voice Chat mod for Fabric and Forge. If you want to use proximity voice chat in-game, download the Simple Voice Chat mod for Fabric or Forge, depending on the mod loader of your choice.

Simple Voice Chat is not, and will never be supported on Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

Our server also runs Simple Voice Chat Interaction, allowing you to set off Sculk Sensor blocks using your voice (9 blocks distance).

Abusing this feature by spewing out hate speech, annoying loud sound effects or music (specifically DMCA) will get you banned or your voice chat access revoked.
