Gaea 0.3.7
Efficient and beautiful world generation
- Server-side update. Modifies some things to be compatible with my server's system.
- The plugin now loads after start-up, potentially fixing the issues with multiverse. To be honest, this works on an arbitrary basis, although it is a fix. One future solution is to interact directly with multiverse
- As the title said, these are some optimizations to both the datapack and the plugin itself, fixing 2 bugs that were in the supervising function.
- A bug reported by iori has highlighted the need to check if an internet connection is open.
Note that for Gaea to work, you must have an active internet connection.
- Added Tenebris to the suite of World Generation Plugins
- Half-way done with rivers...
- Added a system that would allow for future additions like full-on rivers and mountain rages.
This update does not change anything thus far.
- The plugin will now completely disable with Multiverse, I couldn't solve the issue. Will try at it again later.
UPDATE FOR NEW USERS
- Adds a small feature that double-checks before injecting datapacks.
UPDATING IS NOT NECESSARY
- Whilst this update is mostly server-side, a few small fixes were applied to the jar.
NO UPDATE NECESSARY
- This small fix adds a modified datapack given a server version below 1.19.4
THIS IS ONLY FOR FUTURE DOWNLOADS
- Multiverse is incompatible with Gaea, a bug reported by maihari. This hotfix temporarily disables the plugin if Multiverse is detected, to make sure there are no server errors.
This update is compatible with previous versions of Gaea, you will not need to update unless you are installing a new build.
- After initializing a world, Gaea appeared to crash the server. This was unintentional, although the server was meant to shutdown. This has been somewhat resolved. If you still encounter any issues, please contact Shehab#4484
THIS CHANGE IS INCOMPATIBLE WITH PREVIOUS WORLDS & VERSIONS OF GAEA
- The file source is not longer filebin, but rather github. This means Gaea will now work for the foreseeable future, as Filebin is rate-limited.
- Villages also potentially may not have worked even with the previous hotfix, now they will.
- Tartarus (Nether add-on), has also been fixed.
An error with the API meant that the datapack fetching would lag the server out. This has been resolved.
WARNING THIS WILL REQUIRE YOU TO REGENERATE YOUR WORLDS
- BUG Village Generation defaulted to Vanilla, this was due to a missing datapack. If you want to 'install' this update without reloading the plugin, look up a villages datapack. I recommend Villages Revamped Lite or Castles and Captives, the latter was what the Gaea datapack was based off of.
