ClientCatcher shows you the client and mods with which users have connected via a console message and gives you a command to verify each player's client yourself.

Features
  • Command "/client" to verify the client of each player.
  • A message will be sent to your proxy console mentioning the client and mods of the incoming player.

Commands
  • /client [user]

The plugin is not fully effective, several malicious clients hide their client branding when entering the server or impersonate vanilla clients.

However, the plugin can detect several clients such as Forge, Fabric, LiteLoader, Lunar, Vanilla, and others.

It also detects Forge <1.12.2 mods.
